Finding true love is difficult.
The right people get away.
The wrong people stay too long.
The ideal partner can’t be found!
Why does love have to be so complicated?
Why is it so elusive?
It doesn’t have to be is one of the points I make in my latest book, Does True Love Exist?
Yes, true love exists but you’re not going to find it if you’re with dead-beats and people who drain your energy.
You’re not going to find it if you’re wasting your time with the wrong people.
The key to finding love is the same key as being an effective shopper.
Inefficient shoppers, most of us, go into the store and buy whatever it is we see and want.
Effective and efficient shoppers on the other hand, know exactly what they are looking for before they ever touch foot in a store.
Effective shoppers know the item they want, the price it costs and where to buy it. By the time they get to the store, it’s just a matter of picking it up. Ultra-effective shoppers order it online.
What does this have to do with your love life?
Know what you want!
We go out there blindly looking for love and kind of just see who pops up. The person who pops up is not the person for you.
Well, it might be but more often than not, it isn’t. Our perception, hormones and affinity for similarity brings us closer to people who are absolutely wrong for us.
The key then to knowing who’s right for you is to figure out all the people who are wrong for you.
Here’s where experience can help. You can look back on your dating relationships and think about all the qualities, character attributes and values that were wrong for you. Likely, all the men you dated had many of the same qualities.
Once you figure out who’s wrong for you, you try to stay disciplined by not dating people that are wrong for you. This sounds incredibly easy to do but extremely hard because we fall for people who show interest in us. We fall for people who make us laugh, are fashionable or drop-dead gorgeous.
The solution then is to know who is the right person for you ahead of time and to courageously say “no” to all the people who are wrong for you.
How do you know who the right person is for you?
I suggest 3 critical factors to look for in a partner to determine if they are indeed the right person for you. To read more about these factors and learn how to manifest true love, pick up Does True Love Exist? today on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073MTPK6K.
